1. Who we are and what this covers
TINE is a western hunt planning service operated by Outdoor AI Solutions LLC, an Idaho company (“TINE,” “we,” “us”). This policy covers the TINE website (tinehunt.com), the TINE web app wherever we serve it (app.tinehunt.com, beta.tinehunt.com, and gatehouse.tinehunt.com), the TINE apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android, and our emails and support. It explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect

Guest use

Collected automatically
What we do not collect: your device’s precise location (TINE does not ask for location permission; the state you plan for is something you choose), your contacts, your photos, or any government identification numbers.
3. How we use it
To provide TINE: sign you in, show your hunting profile and saved items, answer Ask TINE questions, and keep the same account working on every device.
To take payment and manage your subscription, trial, and any purchases.
To send service emails: welcome, receipts, trial and renewal reminders, payment problems, changes to your account or these terms.
To send marketing email if you joined our list, which you can leave at any time.
To keep TINE working and safe: diagnose errors, prevent abuse and fraud, enforce our terms, and meter free and paid use.
To understand how TINE is used so we can improve it.
To comply with the law and respond to lawful requests.
4. Ask TINE and artificial intelligence
Ask TINE answers questions using an AI model run by an outside AI provider. When you ask a question, we send the question, relevant hunting data, and the parts of your profile needed to personalize the answer to that provider, which returns the answer. Under our agreement with the provider, your questions and answers are not used to train the provider’s models. The provider may retain data briefly for abuse and safety monitoring under its own terms. Your conversation history is stored with your TINE account and is deleted when you delete it or your account.
AI answers can be wrong or out of date. See the Terms of Service for the limits on relying on them.
5. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with companies that help us run TINE, each under a contract that limits them to working for us, and in the other limited situations listed here. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with data brokers.

We may also share information: with your direction or consent; with professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants; if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service; and as part of a merger, sale, or reorganization of the company, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
6. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies for three things: keeping you signed in and remembering settings (necessary); understanding how the service is used (analytics); and measuring the ads that bring people to tinehunt.com (advertising, on the marketing pages only, not inside the app).
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies will stop sign-in from working. To opt out of Meta’s ad measurement, use Meta’s ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out and do not load advertising measurement for you.
7. How long we keep information
Account, profile, saved items, and conversations: until you delete them or delete your account.
Purchase and billing records: seven years after the transaction, as required for tax and accounting, even after account deletion, with your identity reduced to what those records need.
Technical logs and error reports: up to 90 days.
Marketing list: until you unsubscribe.
Support emails: up to three years.
8. Your choices and rights
See and change: your profile and settings are editable in the app.
Export: email support@tinehunt.com and we will send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you within 30 days.
Delete your account: use the web page at tinehunt.com/account/delete, the Delete My Account option in the app’s App Settings screen, or email support@tinehunt.com from your account email. Deletion removes your account, profile, saved items, and conversations within 30 days. Billing records are kept as described above. If you have an Apple or Google subscription, you must also cancel it in the App Store or Google Play; deleting your TINE account does not cancel a store subscription.
Marketing email: every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Service emails about your account and purchases continue while you have an account.
California residents: you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and share; to delete it; to correct it; and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, except that the advertising measurement in Section 6 may be treated as “sharing” under California law, which you can opt out of as described there. Requests: support@tinehunt.com. We will verify your identity by confirming control of your account email.
Residents of other states with privacy laws have similar rights and can use the same contact.
9. Security
Information is encrypted in transit. Payment card details are handled only by Stripe, Apple, and Google and never touch our systems. Access to personal information inside the company is limited to people who need it and is logged. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information we will notify you as the law requires.
10. Children
TINE is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete the account and its information. If you believe a minor has an account, email support@tinehunt.com.
11. Where your information is processed
We are located in the United States and our servers and providers are in the United States. If you use TINE from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.
12. Changes to this policy
When we make material changes we will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for account holders, tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. The version you agreed to is recorded on your account.
